I’m an enthusiastic, creative and driven young lady, currently looking for a long-term English Teaching job.

I have more than 15 years of experience as a private tutor, and I completed my TESOL qualification with AVSE (Australian-Vietnam Skills & Education) on the 8th of November 2018.

I have more than 4 years’ experience working in Public and Private schools, as well as Language Centers in Vietnam (Ho Chi Min City (2018 – 2019), Haiphong (2019) and Hanoi (2019 - 2020). Due to COVID, I moved back home, and worked at SHAMMAH KIDS ACADEMY (Early Learning Center) (2020 – 2022).

I also worked at a high school in Min Buri, Thailand (November 2022 – Feb 2023) while waiting for my Vietnam Visa. I am now currently back at the same Language Center in Hanoi, Vietnam. 

I have extensive computer and communicative skills. I am an organized, ambitious, positive individual, who is able to multi-task seamlessly and am able to be resourceful. I am a proactive team-player who can also work independently; I always aim to exceed any given goal to ensure my performance is always above reproach. 

I worked in the corporate finance sector for more than 10 years in South Africa, and I would like to continue to use my acquired skills to spread my wings as a full-time English Teacher. I would like the opportunity to learn as much as I can, teach as much as I am able to and make as many new connections and memories as I am able to during my journey as an English Teacher.

I have always loved reading and learning about all sorts of things, and as a tutor and teacher, seeing those I have helped progress, has been a highlight of all the time spent with them. I don’t have a preferential age group (kids / teens / adults), as I discovered, during the TESOL teaching practices, that I love teaching any and every age group. 

The ages I have taught range from 3 year olds through to teaching Business English to adults. With my vast experience, I have been able to find a common connection with all ages, that made teaching a fun, rewarding and impactful experience for both myself as well as my students, some that I still keep in contact with. 

The ability to use my skills and experience to create an atmosphere conducive to learning and also teaching with an immediate sense of accomplishment.

I feel that the support and flexibility that TESOL-Teaching offers allows for a positive work-life balance, and creates an environment that always strives to offer the best possible service.

I am available to start work as soon as needed (once Visa and accommodation processes are completed).
