Sector Coordinator Energy And Sustainable Finance - Hà Nội

Job summary

KfW Office Hanoi is looking for a (Senior) Sector Coordinator Energy and Sustainable Finance. The tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Regularly monitor, collect and analyze data and update the team regarding developments in the national energy and financial sector, e.g. relevant changes in the regulation, stakeholders, etc.
• Provide technical input for the development of sector strategies as well as observation of capital market development, ratings of project partners etc.
• Advise the team on rules, regulations and procedures in Financial Cooperation in the Energy Sector and Sustainable Financing Sector in Vietnam.
• Participate in sector related events, workshops and seminars relevant for KfW's energy and financial sector portfolio development, liaise with the relevant institutions and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree/MBA in Economics, Development Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management and Energy, Public Administration, or equivalent;
• A minimum of seven years (twelve years for the Senior position) of relevant working experience in Vietnamese Energy Sector and / or Financial Sector with exposure to Sustainable Financing practices;
• Proven experience with Vietnamese regulations and procedures on ODA financing and a profound knowledge of GoV's policies, practices, legal frame and procedures in the energy sector and sustainable financing sector;
• Experience with international development finance and good practices for energy projects and projects in the financial sector;
• Proven experience in dealing with senior level government and state-owned enterprise officials;
• Strong analytical and comprehension skills and ability to express those easily in writing;
• Excellent communicator in Vietnamese and highly proficient in English (written and spoken); knowledge of German will be an advantage;
• Ability to represent KfW towards High – level Government counterparts and Executives;
• Ability to build up and make use of a strong network in either the financial and / or the energy sector in Vietnam;
• Team-player with strong interpersonal and intercultural skills;
• Highly organized, pro-active and able to work your way through multiple players of administration and stakeholders in the energy and/ or financial sector.
