    Primary Objective:

    • Aligning company sales goals and messages with appealing visual merchandising design & implementation.

    • Bring a new shopping experience, grab customers' attention to increase sales.

    • Differentiate Aeon Private Brand from competitors & increase brand awareness.

    Key Activities:

    • Create monthly VMD concept, design Model display & decoration for Private Brand & Specialty stores.

    • Create POSM concept & design for Private Brand & Specialty stores.

    • Create VMD concept, design & implement VMD for New stores and Renovation stores.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    1. Create monthly VMD concept, design Model display & decoration for Private Brand & Specialty stores (40%)

    • Understand the concept of PB and all Specialty stores.

    • Cooperate with the MD team to understand merchandising strategy and monthly focus categories & items.

    • Mainly design the visual display for household goods, home decor and living style concept such as:

    • Generate sketches, visual displays of product composition on the table, stage, and focal wall to highlight the monthly concept and focus categories, items.

    • Create theme, graphic, decoration and perspective for VMD corners, Show Window that delivers engaging shopping experiences and new lifestyles to customers.

    • Guide and train the Operation team to display according to the design.

    • Monitor the progress of monthly display changes in all stores.

    • Standardize & unify visual displays across all stores.

    • Seek feedback from stores and customers on the visual impact of displays and of the changes implemented.

    • Analyze sales results and measure the results of the display to find out problems that have occurred and have an improvement solution.

    • Work with suppliers, follow up on the decor item production and installation process.

    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.

    • Keep abreast with industry and market trends as visual merchandising, lifestyle, and interior trends.

    2. Create POSM concept & design for Private Brand & Specialty stores (30%)

    • Create Concept & design POSM to promote new product launch, key items & highlight promotions.

    • Provide unified POSM display guidelines for the entire store.

    • Provide a creative POSM display way to differentiate PB and increase brand awareness

    3. Create VMD concept, design & implement VMD for New stores and Renovation stores (20%)

    • Cooperate with related departments such as Interior Design, Merchandise, and Operations to prepare VMD concept, design, schedule & implementation for the new store opening.

    • Provide ideas and design a new theme, visual display for the new concept store, and pop-up shops.

    • Oversee and implement visual merchandise display for new store or renovation store as planned, make sure the project is completed according to design.

    • Work closely with the Operations team, promptly update the Ops' display schedule to coordinate the display and decoration on time.

    • Guide and promote the process of merchandise display on the sales floor to ensure progress.

    • Direct train and guide the Operations team on display skills during the setup process for the Opening.

    4. Others (10%):

    • Follow up and support for contract and payment documents with legal, accounting, and suppliers.

    • Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

    • Follow all working procedures, the company's policies, rules, and regulations.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or an art-related subject.

    • Previous retail experience, have experience as a graphic designer or visual merchandiser or similar role.

    • Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and principles. Proficiency in visual software (such as Photoshop, Illustrator)

    • A strong eye for visual composition.

    • Have knowledge of current visual merchandising trends and best practices can be a plus.

    • Must be able to accept critique/feedback

    • Ability to analyze reports and survey results

    • Sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and multitask, good time-management skills.

    • Need to have the ability to work well with different teams

    • MS Office proficiency
