Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

Assist the Board of Management in enhancing the Company's success by efficiently managing Accounting, Tax, and Treasury Management functions and teams.
Ensure compliance across the organization with group/company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Review all accounting entries to ensure accurate booking aligned with the budget.
Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) aging with proper explanations.

Annual Operating Plan (AOP) Process:

Participate in the AOP process and monitor variances between actual and budget/forecasted figures.
Provide support for monthly Cost Center (CC) report commentary.

Monthly/Yearly Closing and Tax Control:

Manage stock control, valuation, reconciliations, stocktakes, and monitoring of stock gains/losses.
Ensure timely reporting of all accounting and financial statements, tax reports, in accordance with internal/government regulations and group timelines.
Review External Auditor's reports, propose corrective actions to Management, and address Auditor's findings.
Collaborate with auditors to review the company's tax position and propose tax planning methods to Management.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, including preparation of tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding tax).
Assist Finance Director in ensuring intercompany cost allocations adhere to management agreements and transfer pricing policies.

Business Partnering:

Provide timely support to other departments such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR with a collaborative mindset.
Manage treasury functions and forecast cash flows.
Maintain positive relationships with banks to facilitate financial arrangements.
Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Director.
Utilize ERP systems for efficient and effective work environment control.

Requirements:

Have BA/MBA in Accounting or Recognized Professional Accounting qualification)
5-10 years of experience as a Chief Accountant; audit experience is advantageous.
Experience in team management, with a minimum of 5 members.
Proficient in English communication, both written and verbal.
Mandatory experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamic AX software, etc.).
Familiarity with manufacturing sites is beneficial.
Demonstrates proper behavior, supportive mindset, and cooperation with others to achieve company goals.
Possesses a proactive attitude to problem-solving.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
Detail-oriented, results-driven, and quality-focused.
