Operations Supervisor - Ho Chi Minh City

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor with a strong focus on international Logistics and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of managing both internal teams and external 3PL partners to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Execution:
• Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
• Monitor and analyze key logistics performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

• 3PL Management:
• Identify, evaluate, and select suitable 3PL partners based on cost, service quality, and strategic alignment.
• Negotiate and manage 3PL contracts, ensuring clear service level agreements (SLAs) and performance expectations.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with 3PL providers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and evaluate 3PL performance against agreed-upon KPIs, conducting regular performance reviews and addressing any issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legal requirements related to 3PL operations.

• Ecommerce Fulfillment:
• Develop and manage efficient fulfillment processes for e-commerce orders, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Integrate e-commerce platforms with warehouse management and shipping systems.

• Provision of 3PL Services to Customers:
• Onboard and manage relationships with customers utilizing our 3PL services.
• Oversee the provision of warehousing, transportation, and fulfillment services to 3PL clients, ensuring service levels are met.
• Develop customized logistics solutions for 3PL clients based on their specific needs.
• Manage billing and invoicing for 3PL services provided.

• Warehouse Management:
• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and movement of goods. (including e-commerce and 3PL client inventory).
• Plan & manage resources, including staff, equipment, and materials, to optimize utilization

• Transportation Management:
• Plan and optimize transportation routes and modes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Manage relationships with transportation providers, negotiating rates and service agreements.
• Track and analyze transportation costs and performance, identifying opportunities for optimization.

• Team Leadership and Management:
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the operations team and with other departments.

• Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and analyze operational challenges, developing and implementing effective solutions.
• Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in operations management, with a significant focus on logistics and 3PL management.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and distribution.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Good in English: Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening
• Proficiency in relevant logistics software and ERP systems. (Odoo, Quickbook, Misa)
• Easily adapt to new environments and ready to change
