What we're looking for

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through both manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts to integrate quality assurance into every stage of the software development lifecycle, with exposure to products in CRM, ERP domains.

Job duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for web, mobile, and SaaS applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, database, and API testing, ensuring product features meet requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts in Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) to ensure QA is embedded early in the development process.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard issue-tracking tools, ensuring timely resolution with the development team.
• Develop, maintain, and improve automated testing scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter) to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
• Define and monitor quality metrics (defect rate, coverage, test execution) to drive continuous improvement.
• Support release management by validating builds, smoke testing, and ensuring deployment readiness.
• Stay updated with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices to improve QA processes.

Job requirements and qualifications

Must have skills:

• 3–4 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in software projects.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands-on experience in writing clear and detailed test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
• Practical experience with automated testing frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, Playwright).
• Solid knowledge of API testing (REST, GraphQL) with tools like Postman/Insomnia.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and how QA fits into automated build/release processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience in testing CRM or ERP systems (functional flows, business logic validation).
• Experience with database testing (writing queries, validating data integrity, performance checks).
• Experience in mentoring junior QA members or taking on small leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of performance and security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, OWASP ZAP).
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Good English proficiency (written and verbal) for working with international clients.
