Job summary
We are seeking a highly driven and articulate Business Development Manager to secure new business within the healthcare provider market (clinics, hospitals, health systems). This is a pure individual contributor, "hunter" role responsible for the full sales cycle, from generating initial interest to closing complex deals.
Responsibilities
- Targeting & Outreach: Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify, prospect, and engage key decision-makers (C-suite, Clinical Directors, IT/Informatics leaders, Department Heads) at targeted healthcare organizations.
- Lead Generation: Utilize a multi-channel approach (cold calling, personalized email sequences, networking, LinkedIn/social selling) to generate a consistent pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
- Market Insight: Maintain deep expertise in the healthcare technology and regulatory landscape to inform prospecting strategy and client conversations.
Qualifications
- Experience: +3-5 years of experience in B2B sales (Account Executive or equivalent closing role), with a proven track record of selling Technology Solutions/SaaS to Medium/large enterprises.
- Language: Fluent in English for working proficiency level.
- Technical Acumen: Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss B2B application and enterprise technology concepts (e.g., APIs, data security, cloud platforms, workflow automation).
- Communication Mastery (Critical Skill): Proven ability to simplify complex, technical information for non-technical buyers (C-suite, clinical staff) and clearly tie it to business/clinical ROI.
- Soft Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and active listening skills. Must be a self-starter with a strong "hunter" mentality.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for in-person meetings and industry events.
- Experience in a high-growth technology or startup environment.
