IRC DRILLING ENGINEER
At Eni, we are looking for a Drilling Engineer within Eni Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

You will be responsible for reporting to a Senior Drilling Engineer and will play a key role in planning, designing, and overseeing drilling operations, while also participating in the tender process, contract management, and cost control.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a few years of experience to grow and develop under the mentorship of seasoned professionals.

As a member of the well operations department at Eni Vietnam you will be responsible for :

• Working closely with senior engineers to develop drilling plans and strategies.
• Participating in the tender process for drilling services, including preparing tender documents and assisting in bid evaluations.
• Assisting in negotiating contracts with drilling service providers and suppliers;
• Contributing to the development and implementation of cost control measures to optimize drilling expenditures.
• Conducting engineering analyses to support drilling processes and enhance efficiency;
• Collaborating in the selection and coordination of drilling equipment, materials, and personnel.
• Monitoring drilling operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations;
• Analyzing drilling data and provide recommendations for improvements;
• Troubleshoot and resolve drilling-related issues under the guidance of Senior Engineers;
• Participating in cross-functional teams to ensure coordination of drilling activities;
• Managing and maintaining accurate documentation of drilling activities, including reports and records;
• Supporting the Senior Engineer in overseeing cost reporting and analysis for drilling projects;
• Staying updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus;
• experience as a Drilling Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry;
• Solid knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and industry regulations;
• Experience in the tender process, contract negotiation, and cost control for drilling projects;
• Familiarity with drilling software and technology.

Location:
Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam. Office based employee. Willingness to travel to field locations as required
