Product Test Engineer - Ho Chi Minh City

Job summary

The Product Test Engineer is responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting failure modes on products, maintaining and developing test equipment and test software, and ensuring the test equipment is in good condition to minimize downtime and good yield in production.

Responsibilities

• Maintain test equipment in good conditions, test software is controlled strictly with changes.
• Create tools/test equipment/test software to prevent operators make mistake when using.
• Work with Product engineers to ensure Production yield is under control with best result.
• Provide alternative solutions to problems, coordinates the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
• Provide analysis of plant and workstation layouts for determination of proper method or tools, including job cost analysis and cost reduction improvements.
• Performs complex research and analysis tasks on product developer requirements, customer requirements, marketing requirements and system requirements.
• Work with other departments, such as Planning, Production, Quality, Warehouse, … to come out the final agreement on Production planning, Man power arrangement, Quality issue, Goods movement, … matters
• Involves in the selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing engineering tools, machines, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Supports production and purchasing in creating and maintaining appropriate manufacturing documentation and training.
