• Plan, implement, support and improve logistics processes at the site in coordination with Central Logistics Planning
• Participate in logistics capacity and resource planning for the relevant plant

• Lead simple logistics projects and carry out logistics planning in the site and/or the carline project, participate in more complex logistics projects at the site

• Plan, describe, optimize and implement logistics processes according to the best practice approach, economic points of view and according to the logistics planning guidelines

Strategy and Standards:

• Participate in collecting data on capacity and resource planning for the appropriate plant
• Participate in making simple feasibility studies and site investigations
• Participate in developing and implementing measures for sustainable logistics supply quality
• Participate in process optimizations, e.g. by compiling value streams as a planning basis

Planning and Industrial Manufacture:

• Participate in planning and implementing simple provision concepts in production for a carline project and/or across the sites in coordination with Central Logistics Planning
• Participate in permanently optimizing simple material flows at each plant in carline projects and/or across the sites in coordination with Central Logistics Planning
• Participate in conducting industrial manufacture workshop to work out mutual solutions and to optimize cooperation between Logistics and Production
• Participate in in defining logistics product structures, compiling rough packaging concepts and industrial manufacture according to the workshop concept
• Participate in compiling emergency plans
• Determine necessary storage levels and storage options according to standards/guidelines (high racks, market place, supermarket, JIS picking, block storage, AULA) and their regular optimization after changes
• Apply systems and calculation tools for storage levels, FIFO buffers, route planning and required Kanban buffers
• Show the capacity utilization of the storage levels over the timeline
• Ensure clear, updated marking of sources, cuts, routes, stops etc. at the plant
• Find, recommend and carry out/check process improvements in the logistics area
• Contribute to the planning and optimization of timetables, delivery time window, ramp allocation and number of exchange trailers
• Carry out packing tests, transport tests and documenting the results
• Plan and implement the process of collecting containers
• Prepare proposals for packaging work instructions for IE
• Fill level optimizations for existing packaging

Miscellaneous:

• Participate in compiling documentation like logistics concepts, logistics requirement specifications and compile presentations.
