The General Manager will lead the Vietnam operations and be fully accountable for strategic growth, commercial performance, and project execution. This role requires an experienced executive who can operate across business development, technical project delivery, and organizational leadership to scale operations and strengthen market presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead market penetration efforts and develop a strong pipeline of commercial and infrastructure projects
• Oversee the full project lifecycle from tendering through execution ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned with quality and safety standards
• Represent the company in contract negotiations, ensuring commercially sound agreements with clients and stakeholders
• Manage P&L responsibility for the Vietnam business, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, local authorities, and partners to enhance the companys visibility and credibility
• Drive alignment with regional leadership on technical innovations, tools, and process enhancements
• Foster a performance-oriented culture grounded in accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
• Supervise internal administrative, legal, and financial operations in collaboration with corporate functions and external service providers

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with specialization in geotechnical or structural disciplines)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in technical project environments, such as construction, infrastructure, or foundation engineering
• Demonstrated success in leading business units or country operations
• Proven track record in sales, tendering, and contract negotiations
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage complex project P&L
• Deep understanding of the Vietnamese market and stakeholder landscape
• Fluent in both English and Vietnamese
• Ability to interpret technical documentation and engineering designs
• Comfortable working in project-driven environments with multi-stakeholder coordination
• Familiarity with international quality and safety standards
