Luang Prabang Old Town

Honored as the natural wonder of Asia, Pak Ou cave, locally known as Tam Ting cave, is located near the center of Luang Prabang province, this is also a unique tourist destination with spiritual value and long history. The name Tam Ting means cave of a thousand buddhas.

Inside Pak Ou are thousands of Buddha statues of all sizes. From finely crafted small hand-made figurines to statues the size of ordinary people. Most of the Buddha statues here are made of wood and painted red or den with a layer of gold leaf on the outside. According to Indochina Tours research, there are 4000 Buddha statues here, of which 1,500 are in Tam Pum cave and 2,500 others are located in some surrounding caves.

Kuang Si Waterfall

Kuang Si Waterfall in the center of Luang Prabang about 37km, is in the collection of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world. Kuang Si waterfall is quite peaceful, spreading 50m wide, surrounded by mountains and forests. The impressive point of the waterfall is that the water from the large waterfalls pours down to the foot of the waterfall, forming foam. There are also small cascades like terraced fields that store water into a long lake and turn into a very unique natural swimming pool.
