Job summary:

Our client is an IT company in Japan that provides web development, recruitment consulting, and other services.

Responsibilities:

Project Management and Execution:

Lead detailed design, implementation, testing, release, and maintenance phases for new projects initiated from Japan until the team size expands.
Work with basic designs such as BPMN and ERD diagrams and system configuration diagrams.
Review source code, unit test items, conduct acceptance testing, and ensure overall project quality.
Manage the development progress and provide timely and accurate reports to the Japan head office.

Interpretation/Translation Work:

Translate Japanese specification/design documents into Vietnamese.
Provide clear instructions to engineers based on translated documents.
Understand and respond accurately to questions and consultations from Japanese designers.
Communication and Collaboration:
Facilitate smooth Japanese meetings with the management team and development leaders.
Manage tasks within the branch and foster collaboration between the two countries.

Team Management:

Organize and address consultations and issues from Vietnamese engineer members.
Personnel Management:
Manage human resources tasks, including attendance and personnel evaluation of resident engineers.

Experience requirements:

Practical Experience:

Comprehensive experience managing the development cycle in the downstream process of system development.
Ability to judge technical and human resource requirements for development cycles.
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Excellent teamwork skills, guiding the organization toward its goals through cooperation with the engineering team and other departments.
Outstanding job performance skills, serving as a model employee.
Commitment to duties as a bridge engineer, ensuring smooth communication.

Communication Skills:

Proficient in spoken and written Japanese for business conversations with Japanese management.
Ability to read and write Japanese at a level that enables understanding and translation of specification documents for Vietnamese development members.

Required Qualifications:

Comprehensive work experience as an engineer across the entire development process.
Extensive knowledge in the web/IT field.
Experience building systems using AWS/Google Cloud.
Experience with frontend or backend development using specified languages and frameworks.
Proficient in Japanese (spoken and written) with a proficiency equivalent to N2 or higher on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test for native Vietnamese speakers.
