Responsibilities:

Assume leadership role in business development efforts across Southeast Asia
Oversee and coordinate country business development teams
Manage contract negotiations and agreements with clients
Generate leads for potential business opportunities
Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies
Provide sales forecasting, growth plans, and regular management updates
Identify and pursue new opportunities for growth
Draft and present project proposals to clients
Collaborate with country teams, clients, and investment teams
Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of new opportunities from inception to closure, and manage ongoing relationships
Support country teams with any business developmentrelated requirements
Forge and maintain relationships with local partners and stakeholders
Oversee project development stages, including documentation, notarization, licensing, and permitting
Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with clients
Prepare investment pitches for the IC
Forecast pipeline conversion and report on project development activities regularly
While primarily focused on client relationship management, liaise with internal financial and technical teams to oversee the full development process from assessment to financial close and construction handover.

Experience requirements:

Minimum of 57 years of experience within a similar role with significant and demonstrable business development experience in SEA
Indepth knowledge of the business landscape and culture in the Asia Pacific Region
Confident communicator in English (knowledge of local languages a plus)
Strong network of contacts and relationships in South East Asia
Ability to deliver under pressure while supporting peers in a collaborative environment
