Job description:
We are working on game development for big European and American companies.
In order to scale up our business, we are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer in our new office in HCM whose primary responsibilities are:
- Lead internal Server Engineers team to implement new game functions on the serverside
- Debug and fix existing issues
- Write technical design documents, for milestones and internal use
- Provide technical solutions, innovate and improve the quality of implementation, performance
- Control the technical quality and coding best practices of the project
- Work with producers to plan task scheduling/resource assignment/risk evaluation
- Work with clients on the technical side
- Other duties as assigned by management
Your skills and experience:
- Having 510 years of experience in the backend serverside, strong in C# or Java
- Experience with SQL relational databases development: tables design, query optimization and procedure creation
- Experience with AWS (EC2, ALB..) or Google Cloud Services
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB
- Experience with the caching system such as Memcache, and Redis.
- Interested in the game industry
- Ability to work under pressure, independently, and within a team
- Clear communication and reporting in English
- Great attitude and work ethic
