You help execute the revenue management workstream to help us optimize the return on investment on our trade spend activities.


How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work with customer teams to track progress towards revenue KPIs
  • Complete promotional post evaluations in partnership with Finance and Marketing
  • Support the Customer Planning Manager by providing regular reporting including volume tracking, trade spend, % promoted, seasonal in flight tracking
  • Monitor revenue realization of any cost price increases
  • Work with customer teams and Sales Finance to ensure all trade spend in the system is accruing correctly
  • Attend customer forecast surgeries to understand customer dynamics and identify opportunities and risks to the plan
  • Approve promotional activity in line with guidelines with regular reviews of promotional spend

More about this role
Critical leadership role within the commercial team responsible for
developing, implement and measure activation plans for the Local Biscuits &
Tet Category in Vietnam. Drive activation initiatives through the business
planning process and deliver against strategic priorities in full and on time to
achieve the commercial plan. Owns cross functional alignment and execution
of marketing plans, delivering against the budgets & resources to achieve the
sales plan, in conjunction with Sales, Perfect Store, Finance, Demand Planning
& Customer Service & Logistics teams. Responsible across all channels and
retail environments (RE) for the category.

Main responsibilities:


Plan and execute 5P tactics that underpin the delivery of business
targets & reflect the category strategy

Product plans:
Innovation and core

Path to purchase plans Place and Merchandising by channel and RE
Input activation plans into Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.
Provide execution updates and recommend resources/enablers to realize
opportunities
Orchestrate the cross functional work to grow their category as
Marketing, Perfect store, Finance, Demand Planning, Supply, Logistic, Sales to
deliver growth 

Execute initiatives and go to market tactics with excellence, adapting
to changing market conditions and exploiting short term opportunities
Leading planning with Sales and Perfect Store team to deliver
optimized 5 Ps in line with AC and customer expectations
Develop and maintain big bet activity plan (Commercialization
Calendar)
Champion Tet activation meetings to implement and track activations
against plans
Support Perfect Store teams with key insights and customer/retailer
needs for Point of Buying requirements
Develop and align best in class activation plans for NPD (New Product
Development) with Sales, Marketing and Perfect Store including
tracking
Complete post review analysis of major activations and NPD using
Sales Marketing Activity Tracking format 

Support Sales in implementing strategic agenda with key distributors
and customers
Customer and channel reviews
Activation planning and tracking
Participate in Joint Business Planning for Modern Trade customers to
drive category agenda 

Organization capability and development
Best practice processes identified and shared across categories
Personal development managed proactively with manager
Developing and coaching


What extra ingredients you will bring:
Experience
Demonstrated results in FMCG in Vietnam within a commercial role
(Marketing, Sales or Category Planning
More than 5 year experience in Sales, Marketing or Category
Management
Experience in FMCG and GT a must, Tet experience preferred


Education / Certifications:


Education:
Bachelor degree in business related field is required.
