We are seeking a skilled Postgres Database Administrator to join our team. Our company is committed to developing innovative solutions that empower our customers and help them achieve their goals.

As a Postgres Database Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our database systems, ensuring that they operate efficiently, and that they meet the needs of our growing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Postgres database solutions that meet our business requirements.
• Perform database tuning, optimization, and monitoring to ensure that our systems are running efficiently.
• Develop and maintain automated processes for backup and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas and ensure that database changes are properly tested and deployed.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, data inconsistencies, and other databaserelated issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers on the team.
• Develop and maintain documentation for all databaserelated processes and procedures.
• Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the database space.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a database administrator, with a focus on Postgres.
• Solid understanding of database architecture, data modeling, and database design principles.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, Podman and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and monitoring database systems.
• Handson experience with database backup and recovery processes.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL is a plus, especially experience in transitioning from Microsoft SQL to Postgres.

Contract length: 24 months


Salary: 40,000,000₫ - 77,385,000₫ per month
