We are looking for a committed and experienced Senior Accountant to be based in our Vietnam office.

This position will report to the SEAK & ANZ Controller and will manage the full set of accounting for both statutory audit, tax filing and corporate reporting.

The position is also responsible for banking & treasury, internal control, and finance projects.


Your role:

Accounting:

• You are responsible for ensuring the financials from IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and Local GAAP books are closed accurately.
• You are responsible to review the balance sheet reconciliations prepared by COE teams.
• You are responsible for ensuring proper controls are in place for the payment process; and review to ensure the supplier invoices are accurately, completely & timely processed and distributed by the COE teams.
• You are responsible to review and ensure the customer invoices are accurately processed against the contracts.
• You are responsible to maintain local statutory & tax reporting and reconciliation.
• You are responsible to be the first point contact to support both external and internal audits.
• You are responsible to ensure proper record retention for statutory and tax compliance.

Tax and Audit:

• You are responsible for tax payment and filing and to ensure full compliance of all direct and indirect taxes e.g. corporate income tax ("CIT"), withholding tax ("EWT" & "FWT"), VAT, estimated tax return, etc.
• You are responsible for pricing documentation if necessary.
• You are responsible to support various tax audits, prepare relevant audit schedules and work closely with tax functional team and external tax consultants.

Other responsibilities:

• You are responsible to maintain cash flow forecast and local banking relationship.
• You are responsible to support the global and regional compliance and other projects as required.
• You are responsible to provide collaborative support to the business operations.
• You are responsible to support company secretarial matters with external & inhouse legal counsel.

Your Qualifications, Attributes and Skillset:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of finance / accounting and tax experience, preferably with US / EUR MNC.
• Good understanding of the local tax regulations and accounting GAAP.
• Working knowledge of the IFRS or US GAAP will be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of SAP is required.
• Very handson, deadline sensitive & significant attention to detail and ability to work independently is an absolute must.
• Adaptable to small office environment
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
