Job summary:

Adecco's client, a company in the Manufacturing industry, is looking for a Head of QA


Responsibilities:

As the Head of QA, you will be responsible for

  • Draw up organizational strategies from scratch and build up the team by performing high leadership capabilities
  • Enhance client's quality standards and the quality requirements of customers and then communicate those information with supply partners to minimize the defect
  • Give proper and explicit directions to share necessary actions with team and partners to satisfy quality and delivery requirements
  • Promote improvement of quality level of supplier partners by introducing appropriate inspection and kaizen process
  • Design quality standard plan and execute necessary strategies to realize the exponential growth of client's platform
  • Iron out immediately issues that come up (defect, delay, accidents)
  • Advance collaboration with other departments for continuous quality improvement
  • Advise strongly team members to adhere to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Supervise inspectors and provide guidance and feedback
  • Lead smallmid organization and team
  • Train and guide employees to maximize the output of the organization

Experience requirements:


  • Experience as quality assurance/control manager role at factory, manufacturing sites or warehouses
  • Experience as quality assurance/control manager
  • Experience in manufacturing or metal processing industry
  • Experience in developing factory warehouse or supply chain from scratch
  • Knowledge and understanding about drawing of manufacturing parts
  • Any relevant experience in quality assurance/standards such as ISO 9000/9001

Skills:


  • Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2+) or English
  • Eager to take on new challenges aggressively
  • Proven leadership in managing projects of a certain size as a team or in collaboration with various people
  • High level of competence to set appropriate goals and accomplish them by managing KPI/KGI and resource allocation
  • Analyze, review and improve workflow to increase productivity
  • Strong empathy and understanding for client's MVC
  • Strong passion to solve social problem
  • Creative problem solving with analytical mind
  • Fit for action driven and agile work environment
  • Proficient in MS Office or similar tool
  • Strong aspiration for selfimprovement and mindset to inspire and support the personal development of other team members

Education requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
