Role Summary

We are looking for a General Accountant to join the GFT APAC team and help build our rapidly expanding business, while striving to ensure world class technology solutions and services are realized by our clients.

This position is based
in Ho Chi Minh City and will act as the focal point between global GFT teams, and our clients' technology, operations, and commercial teams in Vietnam.

As an General Accountant, you will be responsible for perform all standard of accounting duties and assist Accounting Manager to organize and implement accounting and payroll works on timely manner.

Key Activities

Under VAS, perform book keeping for assigned accounting sections
Check invoices and related document to process payments for suppliers/staff and expense recognition; including reviewing supplier contracts
Assist in preparing tax reports (CIT, VAT, PIT, FCT) and making payments to State Budget
Perform monthend closing including accruals, entries allocation and accounts reconciliation
Prepare monthly financial report under Vietnamese accounting regulation and support for other management reports as requested
Coordinate with overseas colleagues for bookingkeeping using SAP under IFRS
Coordinate with external audit, bank, tax, social agent officer as requested
Update Vietnamese laws and regulations relating to finance, accounting, payroll (including SHUI) matters
Review subordinate works
Backup for accounting supervisor when necessary
Other tasks as assigned by Line Manager and management team

Required Skills:

4+ years of experience in of relevant experience in accounting, payroll and/ or financial management
SAP experience is an advantage
Willingness to learn new things, cando spirit and selfresponsible
Careful, details and accuracy oriented
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Accounting software)
Proactive and passionate for excellence
Experience and/or willingness in working with multicultural teams
Good written and verbal use of English
