Responsibilities:

Deliver Growth

  • Leads and coordinates the AOP process execution for Comanufacturing services and ingredient Categories: Identifying and vetting productivity projects, development of the Annual Plan and monthly forecast price update, alignment of key stakeholders, development of resource plans, and timing for execution.
  • Drive 4% of compressible spend in YoY reductions in conversion, freight, and value engineering (around USD$1.2MM). Reduce costs year on year net of inflation and quality investments.
  • Monitor, perform supply risk assessment to identify and implement BCP plan to assure supply continuity to support business growth.

Create Efficiency

  • Optimize Coman & Ingredients specifications through understanding the levers that drive cost in the supply chain by taking a holistic view both upstream at Suppliers' plants, and downstream in PepsiCo's distribution supply chain.
  • Active participation in cross functional teams (Operations, R&D and Marketing) to lead ingredients value reengineering ideation and execution.
  • Effectively communicate and work with Coman and Ingredients COE and relevant stakeholders to drive and implement sourcing and productivity strategy.
  • Identify and deliver value engineering opportunities in the Coman and Ingredient categories, leveraging supplier and market insights, leveraging R&D resources, as well as networking with peers in PepsiCo and lifting & shifting of ideas from Global/ Sector/Region.
  • Maximize the performance of Coman and Ingredient suppliers to ensure they deliver sustainable productivity and competitive advantage through the execution of their contractual obligations. Develop and implement structured supplier performance reviews and key performance indicators for categories managed. Manage compliance to the contract terms and obligations through quarterly performance reviews with local MU procurement, quality, R&D, and supply chain teams.

Drive Future Success

  • Transform the Coman category in Vietnam through strategy ownership, and supplier development and work with COE to lift and shift new innovative products with the best cost to the market.
  • Support the Ingredients COE to transform Ingredients category in Vietnam to unlock the potential from local vendors, leverage global suppliers to ensure supply continuity, drive faster I&R projects and deliver expected productivity to fuel business growth.
  • Develop a harmonization strategy for SSN to leverage scale and bring more power in negotiation with suppliers.
  • Leads and performs analysis of Customer Segmentation and Customer Value Offer strategies to develop incremental growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in a Senior Procurement of Comanufacturing and Direct materials Category Management position in MNCs
  • Demonstrated technical procurement knowledge of packaging conversion to ensure the continued adoption and use of best practice approaches.
  • Effective leader in crossfunctional project teams
  • Sound Project Management and Negotiation Skills.
  • Proven influencing skills to positively impact complex negotiations
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills in English
  • Good knowledge on Contractual term/ risk analysis/ liabilities and indemnities / SLA's / and general commercial terms
  • Degree qualified
