Job summary:

As a Bridge Engineer, your primary role is to nurture the Vietnam office as our global development base, particularly during its establishment.

We expect you to thrive in organization building to secure stable employment for engineers.

There will also be opportunities to participate in strategic discussions with the Japanese management team, and you are expected to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our entire business.

In addition to managing the engineering team at the office, you will be tasked with fostering cross-cultural understanding through language, playing a significant role in our global vision.

Fluent Japanese skills are essential for communication in these tasks

Responsibilities:

Understand the content of questions/consultations from Japanese project managers and answer them so that they can easily understand.
Timely and accurate reporting to the Japanese headquarters about the progress of engineering projects.
Review of source code and unit test item documents, acceptance testing, and quality assurance.
Smoothly conducting meetings in Japanese with Japan's management and development leaders, effectively managing tasks within the office, and bridging between the two countries.
Absorb and organize consultations and issues from Vietnamese engineer members, consult with Japanese development engineers, and find solutions.

Experience requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in system development tasks. Deep practical knowledge in the web/IT domain.
Development and practical experience using any of the following.

Ability to handle at least one from both front-end and back-end is necessary (Years of experience are not required):

Frontend: React, Vue3, TypeScript, Sass, HTML
Back end: Ruby, Python, , PHP
Frameworks: Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, Cake PHP, Laravel, Express, Nuxt3, Next.

Note:If your management abilities go beyond the practical capabilities required of a bridge engineer, we will consider offering you more favorable terms.

Language:

Proficient in spoken and written Japanese, capable of smooth business conversations with Japanese management.
Ability to read and write Japanese at a level where one can understand the specification documents created by Japanese engineers and translate them so that Vietnamese development members can understand.
For native Vietnamese, a proficiency equivalent to N2 or higher on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, or nativelevel Japanese proficiency is preferred.

Prefer Qualifications:

1 In the case of Individuals with business/native-level Japanese skills who do not have more than 3 years of experience as a Project Manager.

Required Conditions:

Businessnative level Japanese skills
Development experience in both frontend and backend from the following: Frontend: Experience with Vue3 (FW: Nuxt3)

Back-end:
Experience with Ruby, Python, PHP (FW: Ruby on Rails, Django, Flask, Cake PHP, Laravel).

2 In the case of Individuals with business/native-level Japanese skills who do not have experience as a Project Manager, but have extensive experience as a Systems Engineer.
