Job Purpose

  • The purpose of this role is to enable and support a effectively execute of the Matrix Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) business strategy within the region. You are challenged to analyse, advice and support Business Development & Solution Design on the selection of tenders
  • Effectively implement new business and legacy migration. Translating our (customer) processes, procedures and systems. The focus is on the translation to the WMS into a functional warehouse operation. Provide proper documentation as per CEVA Standard.
  • You add value to our organization by executing improvements and enhancements of the WMS. Build on site level expertise in Key Users to support operation with new releases, implementation, and enhancements. Working with Key User communities to exchange knowledge and best practices.
  • Training and Education of BD, SD, ZDS, BPE, Key Users, IT & Operations on current and new functionalities of Matrix WMS Core+ & Express.
Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain a good to expert understanding of the Matrix WMS capabilities (especially WMS Core+) in able to support with advice and guidance on the WMS products.
  • Advice and support with tenders and implementations of new customers on our standard and sector WMS systems and demo/workshops presentation for potential customers
  • Engage heavily with WMS super user and keyusers communities and team leaders in the sites in order to understand their environment and work with them on using the WMS products correctly and obtaining feedback for potential WMS product enhancements
  • Support projects and is capable to consult on setup of Matrix WMS (Clustering, putaway rules, pack configuration, routing, zoning, data loads
  • Executing targeted improvement projects and validated enhancements (large and small) together with local key users, contract managers and operational teams for existing customers
  • Support and guidance of the various sites in the region with regard to the correct deployment and use of the functionality as present in the WMS. Support with the analysis and solving of issues. If necessary, you initiate a WMS enhancement request for which you prepare a business case.
  • Coaching, training and guiding colleagues in WMS related matters so that cost models and tenders are in line with the functionality as present in the WMS
  • Conduct Site Reviews (Functional Assessment) to validate the correct use of WMS (Core+) in the operations and to identify and advise operation on (new) features that can be implemented to add further value for operations and customers.
  • Advise integration requirements to support desired processes and assist with SIT testing

Knowledge, Experience & Skills

The knowledge, experience and skills required to undertake the level at a fully competent level:

  • Matrix WMS Super User has proven practical operational experience in logistics with WMS systems. (JDA Dispatcher)
  • Experience with managing warehouse operations at least at site level.
  • Has or is working in and with a project team and provide support, coordination of Go-Live activities at minimum role as Project engineer and therefore is able to manage a small project with Matrix WMS.
  • Proven ability of comprehensive operational knowledge of WMS systems used within CEVA Logistics.
  • Understands and able to explain EDI's and meaning of it.
  • Proven in
- depth business knowledge of the CEVA way of working.

  • Proven competence of supporting and leading software testing processes.
  • Proven ability to work at local level management
  • Proven ability of excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to communicate within own organization and with external customers.
  • Able to host and facilitate warehouse visits for potential new customers inexternal and able to explain Matrix WMS processes.
