Reporting line: Legal & Compliance Director/Head.
Ensuring operations of Shinhan Bank Vietnam in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; guidelines or regulations of the State Bank of Vietnam, relevant Vietnamese authorities as well as the bank's charter and internal policies.
Providing legal advices to BOD, branches, other departments in relation to banking business and operation.
Reviewing Bank policies, guidelines, contracts & other documents.
Perform as a liaison between Bank and authorities.
Legal research, legal briefing, legal systemizing.
Training and coaching other lawyer.
Participating in building, maintaining and monitoring internal control system.
Assisting Director and Head in planning and executing annual compliance programme.
Other as assigned by Legal & Compliance Director/Deputy Director.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor's degree or above with a major relating Law, Qualified lawyer.
Over 10 years of working experience in legal advisor function in banking sector (advising experience in wholesale, treasury and foreign exchange area is preferred).
Ability to identify areas of risk or weakness and suggest process of improvement.
Ability to research clad analyze the regulation. Ability to cope under pressure.
Having problem solving skill, numerical and analytical skill, a good eye for detail.
Excellent experienced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Fluently in both English & Vietnamese (in both writing and presentation).
