Job Description and Requirements

The Solutions Engineer (SE) will use a customer problemcentric approach to work dynamically across product lines and/or business units to develop comprehensive solutions with full customer flows. The Solutions Engineer will interact with customers and industry partners, to assess customer flows, gather requirements and propose solutions. The SE will also be involved in strategic design services to enable and accelerate customer adoption and improving the Quality of Results (QOR). This role will drive, protoype and design new methodologies and solutions across SNPS products. This role will also analyze gathered data, identify the viability of technology and present findings to customers, as well as back to R&D teams to for future product enhancements and features. Leverages technical knowledge of multiple Synopsys products and tools, to define and create differentiated solutions that meet customer requirements and specifications, and to determine feasibility to expand into new and existing markets.
Key qualifications:
Good knowledge of DFT architecture
Familiar with DFT flow, including DFT design, implementation, verification, pattern, and testing
Experience in Scan/MBIST/BSD/LBIST
Experience in DFT and related tool and flow
Familiar with scripting languages, such as TCL, Perl, Python.
Familiar with Verilog and /or VHDL
Good knowledge of SoC design, synthesis, timing closure.
Good knowledge of silicon test
Good English/communication skills and willingness to work with a global team
BS or MS, major in Micro Electronics or related
Preferred Experience:
Ideally, should have 8+ years of DFT design background and have led teams on implementation/verification of DesignforTest logic on a few designs
Knowledge of synthesis/timing/constraint/layout is a plus
Knowledge of Automotive DFT flows and solutions is a plus
Familiar with pattern debugging, failure analysis and yield improvement
