RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Support MetLife RO investment team to develop and maintain portfolio strategy, manage ALM, credit and other market risks.
  • Follow local capital market movement, analyze market trends, monitor issuance pipelines and trading activities, provide timely updates, and work closely with MetLife Regional portfolio managers and research teams to develop proper investment tactical plans.
  • Ensure accurate and timely execution of trades to achieve investment targets; support local finance and risk teams in middle and back office handling of investment activities.
  • Responsible for internal and external reporting and management reporting regarding to investment.
  • Develop and maintain market connections, liaise with external asset managers and service providers.
  • Collaborate with local finance, product, risk and business teams to support country business and product strategies, pricing, financial planning and capital management etc.
  • Maintain and refine local investment regime and procedures as needed.
  • Develop investment functional capability in the local market, supervise junior analysts as appropriate.
  • Other responsibilities of the investment functions as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Indepth knowledge of the local capital market, good market connections. Minimum 5 years investment related work experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Investment or related field.
  • Analytical, problemsolving, detail oriented, and selfdriven. Ability to effectively communicate with senior and crossfunctional stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
