JOB DESCRIPTION:

To work closely with Production Planning Department to ensure the correct production and deadlines reached;.
Create Standard Operating Instructions for the successful operating of the Pre/Post Treatment department and coach Supervisors/ Team Leaders of Pre/Post Treatment department to ensure a best performance. Use the Master File method and Skills Matrix to measure and develop all personal in the Finishing Department.

Managing the production team with:
Unitech Stenter lines.

Bianco Pre/Post Treatment lines.
Pentek Washing line.
Unitech Brushing machine.
Monitoring quality of fabric.
Maintaining accurate records of fabrics processed and finishes applied.
Minimizing wastage of fabric treatment formulations.
Cleaning machine between finish types to avoid contamination of new batch of finishing mixture.
Periodic complete cleandown of machines. Compliance with all Legislative requirements.
Ensure that machines and equipment are always operated in a safe manner.
To work closely with Fabric Development, Raw Material Purchasing and all areas of QC;
Technical support to the fabric buyers;
Cooperation with other departments (Warehouse, Quality Control, Lab, Maintenance, Fabric Buyer, Dyeing and Human Resources).

Job Requirement

At least 10 years experience working in synthetic fabric processing at a shop floor level within a factory.
Expertise in Processing all kind of knit and woven fabric in Polyester.
Fluent in English
