Job description:

I. KEY JOB DUTIES

We are looking for a game designer with a passion for all genres of games, a knack for designing the game's look and feel, and an entrepreneur with a business mindset to understand the industry, explore the market, and target audiences.

The Game designer can expect to collaborate with teams of programmers, artists, testers, and data engineers, as well as plan schedules and work with budgets.

Their responsibilities also include developing design and gaming protocols, defining game-play mechanics, coordinating with other game designers, and ensuring quality to meet business objectives.

Prototype & game mechanics design

Research and select promising ideas to create prototypes that can bring great experience to players of the casual/puzzle genre and other game genres
Detailing the gameplay ideas into Game Design Document
The most critical task is designing and balancing the game system ingame economy, and difficulty progression.
Design levels for puzzle games.

Monitor the game performance & monetization

Monitor and analyze game performance and user data to improve existing features and game KPI metrics.
Leading the collaborative process with other designers, artists, and programmers to transform game concepts into highquality products with solid player engagement, retention, and monetization.
Continuously review development progress to ensure the final product quality meets high expectations.

Marketability and research

Leading the A/B Test effort to find out more insight, and share with others.
Collaborate with data analysts/data engineers to analyze market data to get insight.
Nice to have if you have experience in the Product Owner position:_
Backlog Planning (Refine/Grooming)
Break the Game Design Document into smaller components
Set goals, and priorities and assign issues & related tasks for each sprint.
Sprint Planning & Sprint review: Prepare the document before the meeting

Your skills and experience:

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Knowledge about Game mechanics, game flow, and tool support for game designing.
At least 3 years experience in Data Analytics, statistical, and probability skill
Graduated from University that requires Math, Probability, and Logic skill
Prototyping or ideation knowhow
Knowledge about Games statistic & tracking
Plus points if you have:
User psychology & biology
A statistic in casual games (hybrid monetization model)
Background in technical or programming
Knowledge about the Mobile game market, game trending especially in the casual and puzzle genre
