Working time:
Monday - Friday, 8h30 - 18h00.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will

• Participating in a variety of projects from policy advisory, largescale spatial and

strategic planning such as provincial planning, regional planning, city master
planning to district planning or traffic impact assessment for a new development.

• Planning, supervising and managing traffic, infrastructure surveys and data

collection activities, analyse, and interpret survey results.

• Developing transport strategy, concept planning, assessment and design of transport

infrastructure including roads, public transport system (bus/rail) and non-motorized
transport facilities, as well as transport planning for urban master plan
developments.

• Traffic engineering design and traffic impact assessment for new comprehensive

mixed-use development including traffic and pedestrian circulation and accessibility
schemes, and the design of associated traffic facilities (parking, logistics facilities).

• Traffic demand forecast, assess community benefits and determine economic

performance of a transport investment

• Developing traffic model at district, city and regional scale using an opensourced

software as well as studying economic impact of transport infrastructure
developments

• Coordinating among team members, external experts and partners to deliver

assigned projects.

• Work closely with other consulting partners, clients, and Government agencies to

develop integrated transport-land use plans and provide transport planning advice
on future land use development initiatives.

• Analysing and providing recommendations based on research findings.
• Writing policy briefs and workrelated reports
• Policy review posting and sharing on social networks
• Communicate any conflict or challenges which may arise in the progress of a project

- to the Project Coordinators and Board of Directors

• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

We'd love to hear from you if

• Master or higher Degree in Transportation Engineering/Transport Planning/Urban

Planning (with specialisation in Transportation Planning) and related fields

• Experience in land use planning, transport planning and transport modelling

simulation techniques

• Organizational and timemanagement skills
• Analytical and problemsolving skills
• Good interpersonal and social skills
• Have keen interest in research and development
• A minimum of seven years of experience.
• Completed at least three transport planning projects at district or citylevel
• Proficient in using Macroscopic and opensource traffic simulation models
• Proficient in Python and Java programming
• Competence in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint), GIS and specialised transport

modelling software is a must
