The school is currently looking to recruit a:

Drama Teacher
Applications are invited from enthusiastic, qualified and experienced teachers for this position.

A minimum of two years' recent experience of teaching Drama to GCSE/IGCSE is essential and experience of either Theatre at A level or IBDP is desirable.


About the Department:


The Drama Department at BIS is thriving and collaboration amongst students and staff is key to the excellent success of the department.

KS3 Drama is contemporary, creative and allows for all students to access the work in a thoughtful manner.

KS3 students are also working with the Juilliard Creative Classroom; an exciting collaboration that allows exploration of world theatre genres.

KS4 students take the CIE IGCSE, whilst KS5 can take IBDP Theatre or IBDP Literature and Performance.

Co-Curricular clubs and productions are a key part of the Drama calendar and all Drama teachers are involved in the myriad of productions each year.

These include the IBDP Studio performance, KS3 production, School Musical, Literature Show and Staff Pantomime as well as contributions to other whole school events such as BIS Night of the Arts, International day, Tet Celebrations and our Week Without Walls.
