Your Role:

CODE LEAP is seeking hands-on Backend Engineers or Senior Engineers (Python / AWS) who will help strengthen our backend development.

The ideal engineer will bring their experiences, best practices, and a collaborative attitude to help drive agile culture initiatives.

To be successful, one should effectively communicate with our development and operations team to orchestrate the creation or improvement of solutions that can scale.

Your Tasks:

Design, build backend services and infrastructure for the Product Information Management system in ecommerce domain
Write high quality, optimized and reusable code
Collaborate with our CTO and Project Manager in Germany and other team members to deliver the project on time

Your Profile:

2+ years of experience with Python
Senior members should have a few years designing, building highly available and large scale distributed systems
Some knowledge/experience developing solutions with AWS technology stack (especially Lambda & DynamoDB)
A team player, proactive, detailed oriented approach to drive projects and make things happen
Open to discussion, learning, sharing and feel comfortable to bring ideas
Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to have

Previous experience in retail, ecommerce domains
Experience with microservices
Some experience in DevOps using Terraform, Terragrunt, CodePipeline
