  • The role & key responsibilities
  • The Environment Coordinator has responsibility for articulating and mitigating the environmental risks arising from the operations in all areas of RMIT Vietnam and improving environmental performance by offering legal consulting on environmental regulations, implementing the environment system, and conducting internal audits. This position will be responsible for ensuring that systems and processes comply with regulations and best practice requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of RMIT's sustainability strategy.
Key selection criteria-Bachelor 's degree in Environmental Management or Environmental Engineering with minimum 03- year experience in Environment related position

  • Understand of legal requirements and standards on environmental protection and sustainability
  • Comprehensive understanding of the ISO14001 standard and substantial experience in implementing, monitoring and auditing Environmental Management Systems/Integrated Management Systems.
  • Experience in engaging with others to build strong stakeholder engagement, demonstrating a creative, innovative and enthusiastic approach
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of hands on University operations.
  • High level of organisational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks, to prioritise and to meet timelines in a constantly changing environment
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including coordination, liaison, negotiation, and multicultural communication.
  • Demonstrate a track record of leadership and engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Competitive gross salary from 22,280,000 VND depending on proven track record in meeting all the key selection criteria.
