Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our expert team in Ho Chi Minh City.

This role is perfect for team players with a strong interest in developing their international career - not just as a coder, but as a product builder.

Our team across Vietnam and Germany is building the product that helps companies analyze the risks that human rights violation happens at their suppliers, vendors and ensuring that every person is treated with respect and fairness.

Your Tasks:

Together with the team, you will design and build the product from scratch with modern Cloud (AWS) and scalable infrastructure
You analyze the business requirement and build up a welldefined data structure for a data warehouse
You help shape the product, advise our team and leadership on the product development direction
Through your impulses, you also help shape the daytoday work of the team

Your Profile:

You studied Computer Science, Software Engineering or in similar disciplines and have at least 3 years of experience in agile development projects
You are confident with designing architectures for data platforms and data processing pipelines as well as excellent command of the Python programming language for building batch and streaming solutions leveraging e.g. PySpark or Kafka
You are familiar with the conception and implementation of data warehousing services (AWS Redshift, Snowflake), data modeling, SQL tools and data management processes
You have some good experience with cloud solutions like AWS products and services or equivalent Azure/GCP services as well as initial knowledge and interest in devops tasks related to data engineering
You understand and know how to prioritize your tasks with a problem solving mindset
You don't take things personal and are comfortable with ambiguity and rapid changes common in earlystage product development
You don't wait for others to tell you what you need to do but proactively reach out to people, communicate, ask for help and get things done
You feel comfortable communicating in English language
