, an entity of RMIT University, has campuses in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi since 2001. We provide internationally recognised, high-quality, education and professional training for students, clients and the community, and assist in the development of human resources capability in Vietnam and the region by hosting students from Australia and many other countries.

Your role

The Senior Manager, Student and Family Connect is responsible for strategic management and leadership of all streams under the Student and Family Connect area within the Student Experience & Success portfolio, including:

Student Connect
the central student service area of the University, providing a high volume of administrative and academic enrolment advice and support to all current students.
Family Connect
service stream to respond to enquiries from families of current students; and outreach and community-building initiatives in support of overall student success, retention, and wellbeing.
Quality Assurance
the functional area responsible for operational standardisation, data collection and analysis, and quality management systems to provide quality oversight for both Student and Family Connect.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of a large scope of services, to be achieved by providing supportive, analytical and creative leadership for managers and coordinators within the Student and Family Connect areas.

This leadership role requires both strategic and operational focus with proven ability to work with a highly collaborative and inclusive approach across the University service areas, Academic Schools and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Senior Manager, Student and Family Connect is accountable to providing expert advice on improvements relating to strengthening and developing the student and family experience as members of the RMIT Community.

The role has a high level of financial management accountability and delivers the Student and Family Connect budget activity to Student Experience & Success and the Division of the Dean of Students ensuring all costs and operations are within budget and are managed in accordance with University goals and priorities.

This position works collaboratively to develop strong links, communication channels, and robust student and family service standards across the University in Vietnam and Australia.
