Our
API Platform sits at the heart of a mildly distributed system, and plays a role in most of the interactions in our loyalty product.

The multi-tenant and distributed nature of our system leads to an interesting and unique set of technical challenges which to date have only been partially solved.

This is where you come in.

As a
Senior Engineer on the API Platform team, you will:

  • Have the opportunity to solve complex technical problems in a collaborative team environment.
  • Play a key role in daytoday work such as sprint planning, pair programming, and code reviews.
  • Map complex business requirements onto existing systems, and evolve them to support new functionality.
  • Maintain high standards of code quality.
  • Work closely with your team lead to define and execute on the technical roadmap.
  • Handle production incidents and improve operational processes, monitoring, and tooling to minimize their impact.
  • Have the opportunity to solve problems across multiple areas, such as performance, internationalization, multitenancy & scalability.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc:


You're a good fit if:


  • You have deep experience with Ruby and Rails, ideally at least 5 years.
  • You have a thorough understanding of API development and concepts such as REST and standards like

  • You have had some exposure to distributed systems and understand some of the challenges they present.
  • You are selfmotivated and function well in situations with high levels of ambiguity.
  • You enjoy working in a dynamic and crossfunctional environment.
