The British Vietnamese International School (BVIS) produces a high-quality international education standard with a rapidly growing reputation. Fully integrated within the curriculum is the deliberate nurturing and safeguarding of Vietnamese language, culture and heritage. This new type of school is the first in Vietnam to offer this unique and special model.

About the role

You will be an important part of our team help us to identify those students who need specific support and work with colleagues to ensure that their needs are met within our school environment.

You will work closely with the admissions team, the primary SLT, year group leads and teachers to ensure we accept student to our school whom we are able to help and that they are effectively supported whilst they are here.

You will support us to challenge students to set ambitious targets for themselves and seek out and implement innovative support strategies to enhance the student experience and outcomes.

About you
PGCE/ QTS and a minimum of three years' recent experience of teaching is essential. You will shine in the primary classroom.

You will have experience teaching children with English as an additional language, a passion for teaching and a strong desire for working in an outstanding bilingual learning environment.

Overseas teaching experience is also desirable, as is knowledge of the English National Curriculum, or similar.

We will expect you to promote high expectations for our students, design learning activities that are aligned to our school's curriculum and encourage a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved.

You will foster an environment of respect, facilitating learning in a language rich setting.
