Overview:


The Talent or Program Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of a creative, fun and exciting curriculum for our 5-week summer camp.

The position includes creating the content based on various age levels and English abilities, as well as creating resource lists, staff training plan and overseeing the programme for the duration of the camp.


What you will do?
***:

  • Develop the 5week summer scheme of work with specific contents and camp activities associated with the area of specialization. This includes responsibilities for staff orientation, training and onthejob coaching.
  • Submit all curriculum documents, training and resource plans on time and ensure all health and safety guidelines are set and adhered to for the area of responsibility.
  • Develop, support, monitor and supervise the teachers under your direct supervision for the summer programme and oversee their delivery for the duration of the summer.
  • Assist the Head of the Summer Programme and/or Site Directors in administrative duties.
  • Where required, create a final production or event that will contribute to the end of summer wrap up event/summer fair.
  • Assist the Head of the Summer Programme in the supervision and evaluation of camp staff.
  • Assist in the promotion of the programme & public relations activities.
  • Prepare and submit a comprehensive report upon completion of the programme.
  • Responsible for delivering some of the summer programme including, but not limited to, Kindergarten workshops as agreed with Head of the Summer Programme.
  • Communicate with parents about participant's experiences and meet/communicate regularly with Site Director regarding concerns, updates, challenges
  • Participate and assist to facilitate staff performances and participation at Summer Fair and Assemblies.
  • Other related duties assigned by the Head of the Summer Programme from time to time.

Your background and experience:


  • General requirements_
  • University degree holder
  • PGCE (or equivalent) or teaching license from your own country
  • Good leadership skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children
  • Ability to teach and lead various recreational activities
  • Cheerful personality, teamoriented and adaptable
  • Ability to communicate and work with a variety of age and skill levels
  • Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and selfcontrol
  • Professional, adaptable, teamoriented, patient and enthusiastic
  • Available for pre programme training 7 June 202
  • Available 7:00am5:00pm, Monday
  • Friday from June 10 through July 19, 2024. You may be required to stay beyond the standard working hours for staff meetings once a week and be available to participate in the Summer Camp Fair Event on Saturday, 13 July 202
  • Teachers assigned to classes only in G
  • G10 will finish after the Summer Fair on Saturday, July 13, 2024
