To become a Merchandising Supervisor is really interesting to me since I have found there would be lots of challenges and pressures in the work and therefore, lots of opportunities for my career advancement.

With my graduation in Business Administration and many years experience in Merchandising at fashion retail industry, I really hope that I could meet the requirements for the position.

• Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock.
• Forecasting profits/sales and optimizing the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
• Meeting with suppliers, distributors and analysts to order products, negotiating cost prices, quantities and agreeing delivery timescales and completing the necessary paperwork.
• Monitoring store inventory and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc.
• Allocating and topping-up certain amounts of stock to each store, throughout the season.
• Working closely with VM staff and BM to decide how goods should be displayed to maximize sales.
