Job summary:

Our client, a leading European home goods brand, is looking for Sourcing Engineer specializing in flatware, tableware, garden tools, handtools, cookwaremade by metal sheet.

Responsibilities:

Implementing sourcing category strategy in Vendor Base
Contributing Vendor Relationship Management. Contracting, Vendor evaluation process. Vendor Development Programs. Participate monthly reviews. Regular Business Reviews
Securing cost competitiveness by cost break down analysis and efficient negotiation process with Vendors
Securing Vendor's capacity in long horizon and supporting Procurement in short term supply constrains
Monitoring industry development in the region (technologies, increases of the cost factors etc). Controlling IPR and CoC violations
Translation of product specifications and control plans (during RFQ/RFP process)
Train suppliers and organization on new requirements, company quality standards, customer experienced quality
Supporting supplier onboarding process with new vendor

Experience requirements:

5+ years experience or more in sourcing & product development work experience from sizable multinational companies.
SAP ECC operation knowledge will be an advantage
Business insight with commercial knowhow.
Sense of urgency is needed
Communication and negotiation skill
Good English skill in all angles (Speaking, Listening and Writing)
Analytical mindset, problem solving
Willing to travel & onsite suppliers

Education requirements:

Bachelor degree or above in Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Automation Engineer or any Technical field including Sourcing experience, Manufacturing and Quality Control
