    Ontario Government Client is actively seeking a Business Analyst. As a Business Analyst, where you have experience in analyzing and modeling enterprise-level business processes. Utilize your expertise in business analysis tools, technology, and methodologies to provide valuable insights and recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop innovative IT solutions aligned with organizational goals, driving impactful change across the public sector.

    Note: The candidate is present on-site for three days each week.

    Must Haves:

  • Proficiency in business analysis, including enterprise-level and client program area expertise.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools, technology, processes, and methodologies.
  • Understanding of software development life cycle, database concepts, and user interface design principles.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architectural concepts, particularly in business architecture.
  • Ability to provide consultation and advice to senior cluster management and staff.
  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills. Criteria:
  • Business Analysis:
  • Expertise in enterprise-level and client program area business analysis and modeling.
  • Proficiency in related business analysis tools, technology, processes, and methodologies.
  • IT Knowledge and Experience:
  • Understanding of software development life cycle, database concepts, and user interface design principles.
  • Knowledge of enterprise architectural concepts, especially in business architecture.
  • Awareness of current trends and emerging technologies in business-driven IT solutions.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Consultation and advice provision to senior cluster management and staff.
  • Demonstrated client relationship management skills.
  • Strong team leadership, presentation, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
  • Accurate assessment of clients' business requirements and identification of best technology solutions.
  • Experience in monitoring project progress, resolving problems, and reporting issues.
  • Evaluation of directions, trends, standards, and policies in complex environments.
  • Project Management:
  • Understanding of service delivery management, portfolio, and program/project management.
  • Experience in change management, quality assurance, risk management, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity planning.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and practices for leading broad-scope business IT initiatives.
